The Full Planning & Styling Service:
We take bookings 12-18 months out from your wedding date, so we can assist in securing all your must-have suppliers. The more time we have to plan, the better!
Styling & Design Service:
We suggest booking with us 6-12 months from your wedding date.
However, we do work with shorter lead times and can take bookings 3-6 months out from your date, provided we have availability.

We love to receive as much information as possible before we book in our initial consultation.
This gives us an insight into your wedding plans and where we can assist.
If you’re not sure on some of the answers on our styling form, don’t worry!
Once we’ve received your form, we’ll have a 45 minute - 1 hour online meeting. Consultation times are available on weekdays, during business hours.
We prefer to schedule a time you’re both available, as we love putting names to faces.

All of our weddings are attended to with immense detail, love and care. To bring your styling vision to life we require a minimum spend of $15,000. This styling budget is allocated to flowers, hire items, stationery, linen, decor etc.
Please note, that this is in addition to our styling fee and budgets will vary based on your chosen venue, guest numbers, and styling requirements.
If you’re unsure about your budget, we can discuss this during our initial consultation and provide you with a guide based on previous weddings we’ve styled.

Ruby & James is based in Naarm, Melbourne. Yet we travel all over Victoria and are available Australia-wide.

Of course! We are more than happy to work alongside your chosen suppliers. However, we do love when a couple reaches out to us in the initial planning stages. Curating a team of talented suppliers is what we do best. All of our recommended event specialists truly are the best in the industry, having an A team on your side will elevate all the stress during the planning process and on the day.
